There are thousands of kids who have the desire and are driven to go to college, but they may not have the grades to qualify for other scholarships or their families may not be able to afford the tuition.  This shouldn't be a reason why a child who wants a high education doesn't get to pursue it. 

Before Matthew’s accident, he was registered and ready to go to college.  He was lucky that his grandparents had a college fund ready for him when he graduated high school but lots of kids don’t have those resources.  This is one of the reasons why we created the Matthew Wright Foundation.

Part of the money that we raise will be placed in a scholarship fund that will help a hard-working student get the education they want but can’t afford.  Our goal is to increase the number of students who receive the Matthew Wright Scholarship and help the winners of the scholarships to go onto become whatever they want to be.

Please help us by donating what you can.  Every child who wants a degree and is willing to work hard for it should be able to go to college after high school.  We at the Matthew Wright Foundation will work to make that happen.
